A major Smartphone manufacturer saw an increased number of new requirements and requests for additional features, functionality and user experience from mobile operators .
The impact of this increased volume of requirements, was multiplied by TTM pressures and a growing portfolio of device models, formats and variants to cover different market segments.
Business Objectives & Challenges
The overall goal was to define and implement a requirements management approach that provided a scalable structure, and at the same time was efficient and flexible to fit with internal and external processes and drivers.
The solution needed to provide extensive coverage across the individual mobile operator requirements, thereby increase compliance and reduce the need for changes at late stages.
