"QI" by Altran, a quality intelligence approach supporting healthcare operators

Altran has revolutionised the optimisation of quality systems in a regulated environment by creating a systematic approach intended to assess their maturity.

Efficiency and Quality

For the first time, Altran has reconciled efficiency and innovation with an approach focussing unwaveringly on quality and the regulations specific to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The systematic QI – or Quality Intelligence – approach provides an opportunity to fine-tune the management of quality processes specific to these highly regulated sectors, incorporating best practices from high-tech industries in terms of optimisation and efficiency.

This innovation is founded on the extensive experience acquired by the experts at De Valck Consultants, a brand dedicated to the life science activities undertaken by Altran Belgium.

Integrated optimisation

By combining regulatory requirements, best practices, bottlenecks and cost limitations, the QI methodology enables companies to optimise the maturity of their quality systems in the long run by means of a continuous improvement plan and an integrated benchmark approach.

11 complementary modules

Altran, in partnership with the operators in the industry, has developed 11 modules covering an entire quality system. Each module is assimilated using different tools providing a tangible measurement of the maturity of the quality system.

5 key performance goals (KPGs)

5 key performance goals are evaluated with a view to defining a pragmatic road book intended to guide improvement efforts towards the most effective levers. These goals form the basis of an efficient quality system: "Conformity & Quality Awareness" - "Risk Management" - "Knowledge Management and Sharing" - "Lean and Agile Processes" - "Total Quality Cost".

Convincing results

Several major partners, active throughout Europe, have already called on this modular process. They are unanimous in confirming the immediate advantages of this new approach.
